Halfnote Cards and gifts is the result of an idea spawned by Russell and Gregg Roth, and an urge to try something a little different. The idea, tested in 1992, at the Montgomeryville Mart, encased in a ten foot by ten-foot booth. It came as no surprise, when the idea produced a success, and after all, who does not like the idea of paying half price for a full price card.

In 1993 they opened Halfmark Cards and Gifts in Quakertown Plaza and in 1995 they opened in Montgomeryville; 1997 one was opened in Souderton, too. It was about this time when Hallmark insisted they change their name and Halfmark became Halfnote.

Since that time, Halfnote has closed Montgomeryville and opened shops in North Wales and Blue Bell. We at Halfnote are continually committed to providing top quality Greeting Cards and gift-wrap at half off the marked price. Simply were providing a wholesale outlet to the public.

Of course, we are still everything else you would expect to find in a quality gift shop with a fine selection of gifts, and party supplies and a customer service responsibility that is very important to us. At the end of it all, the customers are what make Halfnote a success.
